I have been very impressed by the doctors and nurses at this practice. They have been thorough and offered various treatment options. The only negative that I can honestly comment on is that you have to go into the practice to order a repeat prescription rather than being able to do it by phone. Other than that, I've been extremely happy with my experiences at Parkside.
Absolute disgrace. Long and short they wouldnt triage me, wouldn't give mean appointment till I was on day 9 of a sick. Receptionist told me that the note could be back dated only to be told by the doctor that it can't. Employer now considering how to handle the one day difference between self certification and date of note. They have caused so much stress through the ignorance of their reception staff. The reception lady was charming and logged me in immediately. I was seen absolutely on time by an equally charming lady who examined my ailment, explained the whys and wherefores regarding treatment and gave me the printed literature which detailed the exercises I need to do along the road to recovery. To summarise; a very, very positive visit to my GP and left feeling much the better for knowing my diagnosis and what I need to do as my part of the bargain. Thank you and five stars all the way.
The staff are very friendly and polite
Doctors are great here, but the receptionist is absolutely vile! What her problem in life is I don't know but I do know she is in the wrong line of work. Everybody complains about it, it's even been in the Sun News paper.
