I used to stay in this hotel regularly when I work night shifts. In 25 January I left my bags in the hotel room and went to work. Next day I noted that my bags were missing from the room. The safety cord in the window was broken. The police was informed. I was told that CCTV cameras at the front of the hotel facing the road/car park was not working. I was told only my room was broken in to. Obviously the thieves knew that I was going to work at night, they knew the exact room I was staying as other rooms were not broken into and they knew the CCTV cameras were not working. I have concerns about the safety of guests staying in this hotel.
Easy for the centre and surrounding villages staff always happy to help. Getting to it from the Motorway can be a bit of a challenge if you dont know the area
Very good apart from faulty fire alarm. If you like pizza try the pizza place next door.
The shower head in the bathroom wasn't the best as it was angled so off that it poured only on to the faucet underneath which caused a flood of water on the floor. Also we had a bit of a issue with the room service coming into the room 12 minutes before checkout time while me and my partner were still getting dressed ready to leave. These were the only issues we had at our stay as the room was nice and tidy.
Very basic, room was clean but only 1 hard plastic chair in an almost empty room.Friendly and helpful receptionist.Good restaurant just outside
