Very nice place. 24 of us arrived in one party and they gave us a full area to ourselves. Rapid service and pretty good food.
Good large restaurant, food good and very reasonably priced. Nice for families and does get busy. Options for carvery are small, medium or large to cover all requirements. Overall very good.
Always busy! Good friendly service! The only downside it there is usually a wait for a table but that always gives me the impression that its worth the wait!
Really disappointed with sycamore farm. Family birthday meal so had ring to book, was told no need to book just come along. Turned up and was told we should have booked, explained the telephone conversation and was told if we went down to the family area we would be seated. Went to family area and was promptly told 2 hour wait for a table. This is not the first time we have been messed about by sycamore farm and as yet we have still never managed to have a meal there.
It is what is it is, they hadnt made our booking (luckily it was pretty quiet). The service is slow (glacial) and they didnt manage to get our order right. They were fine to fix it, but I assume wed left by the time the missing bits arrived.The kids area is OK. Id recommend for the real life Lord of the Flies experience minus the deaths. The play area is 5s and under, which presumable is feet.
