As a commissioning engineer from Germany I usually have not much time to keep track of my hobby witch is boardgames.So when I was send to a new assignment to Burnley I thought there will be only boardgames on the few weekends that I spend at home.But then I tripped over the website of the tabletop game shop and after a hard day at work I decided to go there and see of I can play some games even though I am not a native english speaker.Turns out I can because there are a lot of really nice people. And everyone even a German guy that just randomly showed up can just join a group and play some games. So if you like boardgames and look for a group or some new games to play just come in there are a lot of people bringing their own games and the shop has a good variety of games as well.And if you don't want to play you can have some nice conversion as well. Like the unforgettable discussion why the UK have double water taps and why the German single tap system is way better or wich nation made the better bratwurst :)Some final informations:You can not only buy boardgames here but also a lot of Warhammer, Magic and role-playing stuff and you can even get some hot and cold drinks and some snacks.
I have been to this place in the past but the price was not sustainable at 5 a time, as I played Magic the gathering here. However since they have intoduce a booking system and have lowered the price to 3.50 I do not have to worry about the cost. It has a great atmosphere, very family friendly and I would highly recommend this store for table top games.

Great place to meet new friends and spend an evening having fun with like minded people. Great selection of games and the staff (and customers) are really friendly and ready to help learn new games. Well worth a visit!
