Large car park for lots of beautiful walks nearby. Plenty of picnic benches and bins. The loos were clean and tidy but the hand washing facilities were rubbish. Freezing cold water and the hand dryer only stays on for a couple of seconds and was also freezing. Not good if you want something to eat in the cafe situated in the car park. They request a 1 donation to park. When we visited it had snowed and despite the entrance/exit being quite a steep slope it had not been gritted. Saw a few cars struggling to get up the slope.
roomy car park but a little rough on the tyres as the surface has not been sealed. could do with some white lines to aid peoples positioning but a decent strategicly located car park.
Get there early and it's a great place to start a walk. Just a shame the cafe didn't advertise if it did soy milk as it seemed like it would be nice to stop for a coffee
