Best salon I've even been to. Have been going for over 3 years and have since moved away to Leeds and still travel back for my hair cut.Always considerate and never feel rushed. Would absolutely recommend to anyone

Doesn't know how to cut curly hair; had to wait for a year for my curls to grow back because they were cut wrong. Recently my sister went as she was convinced Sam specialised in curly hair but is now distraught she has lost her curlss due to the technique of cutting they use is similiar to straight hair. Its a great place for all other hair services just not for curly hair and they should not be stating they CAN cut curly hair when they actually cant. The use of a curling iron on someone who wants to retain theyre curls is common knowledge that it is a big NO NO. Disappointing and misleading or maybe just arrogant to bring in a new customer base.

We won't have our hair done by anyone else. We moved to York nearly 2 years ago now and still return to Robert Brandon's for our hair styling. I thought my boyfriend was a little crazy at first but Sam always does such a good job of his hair (and he's very fussy) that it's totally worth coming back (so I don't have to listen to him moaning). I have my hair styled by Piya and although I'm not as fussy when it comes to my own hair, she knows exactly what I would and wouldn't like and there hadn't been a time where either of us have left disappointed. I can't wait for my next appointment this weekend!
